NRL Round 25 Preview - Broncos v Sea Eagles @ Suncorp Stadium

NRL Round 25 Preview - Broncos v Sea Eagles @ Suncorp Stadium

Brisbane Broncos v Manly Sea Eagles @ Suncorp Stadium

Preview - The Broncos will be looking to head into the finals as one of the form sides of the competition when they host the hapless Sea Eagles at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Broncos put down a real statement with a hugely impressive 22-8 victory over the Roosters in a game they physically dominated and defended strongly throughout. Manly were desperately unlucky to go down to the Tigers 22-20 in game they butchered a few tries and failed to get over the line at the death.

Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - The Broncos are forced into a change at hooker with Jake Turpin starting at hooker for Andrew McCullough who was brutally knocked out by Dylan Napa last week.

Manly Sea Eagles’ Scouting Report - Trent Barrett makes a couple of changes for his final game in charge, with Matt Wright replacing Jorge Tafoa on the bench. Martin Tapua returns to the starting side for Manly’s final game of the season.

Verdict - Broncos by 30+

I think Brisbane might put a huge score on Manly here. I know Manly have already won at Suncorp this year, but the season has got too long for the Sea Eagles, and their defensive line has been a mess for the majority of the season. The Broncos have played a lot of night games this year, however I think their attack could be particularly lethal on a dry surface and they might put 50 points on the Sea Eagles here to head into the post-season riding a real wave of momentum.
