NRL Round 22 Preview - Storm v Sharks @AAMI Park

Melbourne Storm v Cronulla Sharks at AAMI Park

Preview - The Storm can move to the top of the table with a win over the wobbling Sharks at AAMI Park on Sunday afternoon. Melbourne were thoroughly outplayed in the battle at the top last week, as Souths dominated them in the second half to run out 32-18 winners to show the Storm they will have a real fight on their hand if they want to retain their title this season. The Sharks suffered a shock 33-32 lose to Manly in Golden Point, as they dropped a second straight game and saw their Top 4 hopes facing fast.

Melbourne Storm Scouting Report - Just the one change for the Storm, with Suliasi Vunivalu returning on the wing for Cheyse Blair.

Cronulla Sharks’ Scouting Report - The Sharks have named an unchanged line-up from the one that narrowly went down to Manly.

Verdict -  Storm 13+

Real grudge match here, with the Sharks winning some big game against the Storm over the past few years, including the 2016 Grand Final. However, I just can’t see them doing it again here. I think the Sharks have been pretty ordinary this year in terms of the quality of their football, and relied on a lot of scrappy wins, and I can’t see them frustrating a quality Storm outfit trying to rebound from a loss. I think the Storm will win comfortably.
