NFL Divisional Round Playoffs - Houston Texans @ New England Patriots @ Gillette Stadium

New England Patriots (14-2) v Houston Texans (10-7) - Gillette Stadium

The Texans come in as hopeless underdogs to an AFC Divisional Round Playoff match against the vaunted New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Saturday Night. The Texans squeaked their way into the playoffs at 9-7 before dominating an under maned Oakland Raiders in a convincing 26-10 victory at home last weekend to advance to New England. The Texans have the number 1 ranked defence in the NFL and will need to be at their very best if they want to contain Tom Brady and the best team in the NFL. The patriots have had 7 straight wins and are 11-1 since Brady returned from suspension. Brady finished the regular season with 28 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions which re wrote the record for the single fewest interceptions thrown by a side during a regular season. Earlier this season when the sides clashed at Gillette Stadium the patriots shut out the Texans winning 27-0 without Tom Brady.

Verdict - Patriots 29 Texans 16

I think Houston's defence might have a bit of a say in this game early on. I think they can keep it close in the first half before Brady and co take over and start dominating. Houston will be more competitive then people think but there is no way in the world I see them upsetting Ne England here.
